Our story
Meet JoJo
At JoJo's Auto Tune and Brake, we've built our name on telling customers the truth, even when the easy fix would be more profitable. Our owner, Jovani, known to everyone in Oceanside as JoJo, walks you through exactly what your car needs and, just as importantly, what it doesn't.
From spark plugs and cylinder head work to brake pads and rotors, we handle the tune ups and brake jobs that keep your car running safely, using genuine parts instead of knockoffs.
We treat every customer like a neighbor, because most of them are. Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, we'll explain the work in plain language and send you home with a car you can trust.
- Owner-operated shop
- Genuine parts, never knockoffs
- Honest, no-upsell diagnosis
- Friendly, straight-talking service
What customers say
“It's never easy to find a mechanic whom you can trust. I brought the car in with 100% conviction that the brake pads were done, but JoJo's team educated me on wheel balance and the fact I still had miles to go. He could have replaced the pads and the disks and I wouldn't have questioned it, but he chose an honest way to communicate and save money on my end. 100% recommend and I'll go back in a heartbeat.”
“I've had such a great experience here. Jojo is honest about what needs to be fixed and what doesn't, which means a lot. I trust him with my car every time. I definitely recommend!”
“Fantastic service. My truck was about to end it completely, and they went right in and fixed it up with a new cylinder head, spark plugs, everything.”
